tapORsnap Australia was co-founded by long time friends Darren O'Bryan &
Brett Beacham. Established in 2008 on the back of a growing interest in the sport of MMA, the conception of the brand was a moment almost overlooked…

Brett was working on a T-Shirt design for a local MMA club. That night while watching the UFC the term 'tap or snap' popped into his head. He began playing with designs for the phrase for his own interest. When Darren (a practicing mixed martial artist) suggested that he should pursue it as a brand he said, "why don't we do it together"?

The decision to join forces and pursue that dream has led to the tapORsnap brand now seen in the cage, gyms and on the streets.

"We're very proud of what we're offering our fellow Aussie MMA fans out there. It's a market and culture we have both grown up in".

Brett having spent many years in the film and TV industry producing creature effects for the series Farscape and films including Star Wars, The Matrix, Babe pig in the city & Rogue just to name a few, brings his design talents over to the clothing line, and boasts cutting edge designs that are current with today's trends. While Darren's background in sales, marketing and distribution, coupled with being an active MMA competitor places him comfortably in the role of business development.
